Sorted!. You need to reset the FB User Settings. Then reauthorise from the users top bar settings. Works fine. thanks.

Richard where the folks using FACESTREAM enabled as BuddyStream FACEBOOK users when changed to BuddyStream? AND they could not post —> BUT when you reset them it worked? I’m just trying to understand better so I can direct other users that will have the same problem… we are looking at the possibility of a “reset all” for this type of issue…

  Yes. When I disabled the Facestream plugin and installed Buddystream, when posting from the Activity Stream Twitter received the post ok but FB didnt. When I reset the FB users in Buddystream and then went and authorised the user (via the top bar) the postings to FB started to happen again. Hope this helps.

I should also add that the settings for FB are being shown in the user settings.

This is going to be a fantastic addition to Buddypress!

I too am having a FB problem. Tweetstream and Facestream were both working well. I deactivated these before installing Buddystream. Now Twitter connection is great but activity posting doesnt appear in FB. Ive checked all the key settings but no luck. How do I go about resetting the user? Any other ideas?

Resetting: FB -> Users -> Reset -> Yes

      I’m using an existing facebook application (not a new one), so all of my existing application users on facebook will need to be reseted on my site, otherwise the facebook link doesn’t have an id.
      
      hope that’ll help identifying the problem
