I had my provider activate suphp, which appears to have fixed the issue. Thanks to those who helped steer me in the right direction. 🙂

Folder permissions are set to 777 for the album upload folder. The problem is how the plugin is creating the folders (uid and gid both apache instead of my account username, and the permissions set to 755 instead of 777.
