I’d suggest just a text overlay of the number over a default icon for the achievement ‘class’ — but yeah, I’d like to see this too!

Confirming this issue on my localhost testbed with 2 users. With only me (admin user) in group, it showed 5 reviews, total of 5 stars (after one 5 star review). Testuser accepted invite, and after review by that user of 4 stars, count bumped up 1 to 6, total score dropped to 1.5 stars.

Thanks, Paul. I’ll modify achievements-core on my live site accordingly and see if users report no more problems.

@DJPaul, cool, thanks. I’m all over the Achievements plugin (new version is great, in case I hadn’t mentioned it to you before, BTW), so I’ll dig into it with an eye to using the structure for my own components.

Drop it in your plugins dir, network activate it from the dashboard. Doesn’t work for me because I’m also using BP Xtra Signup. It’s looking to me that the notification gets ‘stuck’ when there are several notifications triggered at once, either through Achievements itself, or through an achievement and a default Buddypress action triggering a notification. Hopefully Paul has an idea on what’s happening there.
