Thank you. It was the theme that was the problem. I had upgraded BuddyPress to a version that no longer was supprted by the old theme. Using Cpanel I was able to update WordPress and change theme.

The site can no loger be viewed. I get the error message
“Fatal error: Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed; If you would like to pass argument by reference, modify the declaration of apply_filters(). in …/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core.php on line 561”
How do I fix this? I can not even open the dashboard. -

I have created aa site with Buddypress vith three users. There are functions to list friends, but I find no function to invite friends so the list stays empty. How to invite friends?

This plugin can only be used in the USA. The currency is $ and the list of states in the adress is only USA states. Neither is it translation ready.

Yes, the free version of this plugin was designed for the USA. I will eventually change this. For now you can edit the “includes/event_register_attendees.php” at around line #274 to change it to whatever you need.
In the premium version, the registration forms can be customized from the WordPress admin.
