Enable the debugging mode in WordPress, you should be able to edit Courses Group ID taxonomy terms.
Make sure, none of those entries has slugs different from term name.

This is weird, for some reason, you installation was creating group_id term slug with current group slug (where it should be the group id value).
I can’t explain this yet.

It will be available in the next version.

so far, I don’t have a solution for cloning a Courseware group.
Sadly, I don’t have any plans like this in future, but it was mentioned a couple of times 😐

What bbPress version you are trying to integrate?
Version 2.x is not yet integrated very well in the BuddyPress.
Version 1.x is a one click installation!

Gradebook has private and public comments.

Sorry, looks like there are some issues with this website activity stream.
Anyway, a simple solution would be to make sure the students have the ‘Student’ role checked and the same for Teachers.
