This is our first child theme for Buddypress. From the beginning we are enthused in Buddypress and started getting familiar with WordPress because of our interests in Buddypress. This theme is a fun project and we want to share it with you. It was our claim to understand the 1.2.3 theme architecture. Itβs not tested […]

I will add all what’s needed to make SEO in Buddypress as comfortable as possible. Please send me input!
The plugin is still in “construction mode”.
In the 1.2.1 beta version are already many new aspects, like editing meta data in posts and pages, but I didn’t have time to test it and the changes have been so enormous, that it’s buggy at the moment. -

Sorry, but I do not understand your question, if it has something to do with a plugin I wrote, please give me more information. π If it’s about theme development, I think the forum is the right place to ask your question

@dre1080 @dmitrikartashov
Version 1.1 is a tested stable version for bp 1.2.3 and wp 2.9.2. Please use this one. 1.2.x is in development and I won’t have time before next week to continue on this plugin.Thanks for the feedback.

Isn’t it the same issue as before? Thanks, will change it in the next version.
-
In new version still takes place.
Also, SEO admin section in console should be into BuddyPress section to be invisible for another users. In earlier versions it was so.-
Its because some people want to use the plugin for wpmu without bp to optimize the sub blogs. The seo menue should only be visable in The main blogs.
-
May be you make two different plugins? For WPMU and BP?
-
I do’t want to support 2 plugins with nearly the same source.
Please have a look, I changed it… So now if buddypress is installed, the menu will be placed under buddypress.-
Thank you!
And one question. Now BP-SEO is visible for everybody in console (on Plugins page). Can I put: “Site Wide Only: true” into plugin and activate it sitewide? Or is it bad?

Sometimes the filter options of the activity stream make no sense.
Example: filtering by “New Groups” in “@username mentions”
Is there a way to change this?

@dre1080
On my test site it`s working…You have to go to General Seo and update the General Seo Options ones for the plugin to work.
Sorry, I will make this more clear in the next version. -

I’m looking into this at the moment. On my own test site the video displays on a page refresh but not on an edit save. Very strange.
-
I’ve been banging my head against this for a long time without getting anywhere. I’m going to concentrate on other issues for a bit and come back to this. For the time being, saving requires a page refresh to display oembed objects. Highly frustrating :/

It did not work for me, maybe I did something wrong. By the way, the new UI and the editor is great. I really like it.
-
Do you have a link to your test site I could look at?
I presume you’re running at least version 0.7.x of the plugin btw?

@svenl77 It says in the desciption that Revision history has not yet been implemented π
-
Indeed. Very little is implemented at the moment.
Embedding works if you manually type the embed tags around the video link, or if you use the youtube button in tinymce.
