@sbrajesh Buddy Dev plugins are awesome! Do you also have plans to add localization support by adding .pot files? I’d like to translate some of your plugins to Japanese.

Wondering how to force group activity updates (not with mail plugin) when someone replies an activity comment. I thought BuddyPress does this, but it looks it’s not as good as Facebook…

@boonebgorges I’m using bp in Japanese. Anyway, thanks for the info. If possible, I’ll modify the function not to post any content to activities, but notification.

I don’t think the plugin supports forums for the moment.

Anybody know some tips on customizing forum components, especially how forum updates are sent to activities? I still can’t find this function that controls forum activity updates.

I’ve just started Japanese translation, but somewhat it’s not working. I’m using Poedit to translate, then naming bp-docs-ja_ja.mo/po to upload languages directory of the plugin. Is there anything extra to make translation work?

bbPress automatically posts its activity updates to group walls, like when creating a new topic and responding. Use the Custom Profile Filter plugin, but edit the plugin file. Just wrote example:

You can find it easily by clicking featured, however, I strongly agree with your suggestion to put it on top of other buddypress results.
