I’ve seen a few posts but still haven’t found a solution, can anyone point me in the direction of one?
I am using BuddyPress 1.2.4.1 & WP 2.9.2 (not WPMU) and a custom theme.
All comment avatars show as the admin of the site.
any ideas?

Hi all,
just wondering if anyone has a few SQL statements and maybe a search & replace that will allow me to export a bbPress forum & import into a new BuddyPress group?

@foxly just wondering if you have any fix I can do to enable comments on uploaded pics using the alpha version above.

also, just in case you don’t know, spaces are stripped from tags, and the tag results page returns all photos.

@DJPaul I never asked you to release any new version & also never mentioned any download stats!
I did ask @ffemtkl if he knew if the plugin worked on 1.2.4.1 to which he kindly replied above. 🙂

@pisanojm with the default theme, I made no theme edits, I did try a few different plugins today but I’m now sure it is the BuddyPress Activity Stream as Blog Comments plugin that worked for me.

@pisanojm, formatting pretty messed up on this post, so hope you can read this.
Yes, I’m sure it is the latest plugin I mentioned that puts activity stream replies to forum posts into the correct forum thread.

@takeo I didn’t do any of the theme edits yet, but the activity stream to forum replies worked out of the box for me.
Only tried with WP3.0RC & BP 1.2.4.1

Hi @nuprn1, another handy plugin, thank you.
However, I’m a bit unsure about letting the Action field be edited. Any user could substitute the name & link to make it look like a status update came from someone else.

@ronniesandlin I have had hostgator shut my sites down without warning way too many times on busy traffic nights.
Installing a DB intense script would occasionally trigger the same reaction. I’m not saying this is your issue, but I certainly wouldn’t ever put a BP install on Hostagtor.

In my experience with Hostgator, they are great until you get a decent amount of traffic but then crap out big time.
Personally, I’d never use them again.
