@thinkluke @thinkluke Hi Luke,
tried to follow a post about buddypress, featured post thumbnail and custom excerpt. In the end you said you resolved it using drupal. I am currently looking into choosing a CMS for a community based website. WordPress and buddypress seemed to be a good choice, but maybe drupal is a better alternative?
