I posted a message on his message board. I have posted messages before and he just deletes them. I fear that I may have to find another theme.

It seems that the url only resolves if the user is logged in? Which isn’t useful because the majority of the time if you’re receiving an email like this you won’t be logged in. Does anyone know of a fix?

It looks like in the email that is sent out the url is missing ?new query at the end of the url.
    It’s currently: http://www.mysite.com/members/tiki16/friends/requests/
    and should be: http://www.mysite.com/members/tiki16/friends/requests/?new

Any idea how this can be fixed?

Lots has happened. I upgraded to 3.2.1 but then had to revert to back to 3.1.3 because of incompatability issues with my theme.. I really don’t know where along the issue has arisen? It did work originally.

Also, how can I change my settings locally so that the url is localhost and not the remote host?

No cache plugins and I can’t reach the admin panel. Where do I check the error log. I’ll try to revert to the default. I didn’t turn off any plugins when I uploaded.
    thanks

Hello. Same problem. When you comment on a post it doesn’t appear and I can’t even see where I would be able to create a profile as a new user visiting the site. The author of the theme requires payment for support. Guess I got suckered in. All this work for a useless theme. yeesh!
I am working locally on xampp, windows 7 but doubt if that is the issue.

I removed it, don’t get any errors, but still can’t create a profile. That sucks.

It’s for a buddypress site. I’ve tried a few but am looking for a recommendation as it becomes times consuming trying these out.
    thanks!
