When i do this, the handle is corrected. But when i mention a user with a dot in the handle like @ a.sjogren it dosen´t work. Is this a known issue? Does this work on buddypress.org? Can @DJPaul or someone try to mention me in a reply to this post as a test? One more question: […]

I have set up a new BuddyPress site with WP 3.0 and BP 1.2.4.1 If i create a user in wordpress backend with username a.sjogren (a dot in the username) it is accepted. The new user logs in with a.sjogren. But the handle in BuddyPress is not @a.sjogren, instead it is @a-sjogren! I think this is misleading […]
