We now have embedded videos working. See our activity stream:

We’ll probably have a nightly build out in a few days.

Re: DB Files – No, you have to delete all uploaded files and all DB tables or you will get strange errors.
Re: Upload size limit not being enforced – There is now an issue tracker entry for this problem http://code.google.com/p/buddypress-media/issues/detail?id=18

@vsimovic I wrote a documentation page on the wiki for you. It explains how to use the plugin to display customized featured content.

Well, why don’t you figure out what’s wrong with our CSS that’s causing the problem to happen, and let us know. That way we can get the problem fixed much faster.
Thanks!

Yes, that version of the plugin’s nightly build will automatically upgrade to the current plugin version posted on the BP Media download page:
http://code.google.com/p/buddypress-media/downloads/list
So just download bp-album-2010-07-15.zip, copy over the exiting files, deactivate, activate, and you’re good to go.

All of the things you’ve described are *normal* behavior for BP Album+ 0.1.7.
If you’re an experienced WordPress user and are comfortable using tools like phpMyAdmin, you might want to try out the latest version 0.1.9 nightly build, which is posted in the forum. It has much more advanced features.
