New update coming today so you can set in the admin how many points are required before a member can send a message to other members. Helpful for spammers that register just to spam messages to everyone.

Version 1.9.4 will be update shortly. Fixed a bug if you never had CubePoints 2 installed.

Version: 1.9.3 should be working fine with BuddyPress 1.5 and below.
