You prob need to edit the header.php file in your theme and add this code right after the body tag:
?php if(function_exists(updateHeader)) updateHeader(); ?
Be sure to put the left and right arrow brackets in that line of code on each end. It appears that you cant post code here

Forgot to mention that I love your plugin. It is very nice! TY! The readme could use an update regarding the code that is needed in the header file though.

I have the same problem as odiggy. It seems that if people view your activity they become a friend request. Even when I was viewing my very own profile and activity it gave me a false friend request to myself on your plugin but if you go to the buddypress freind section it’s ok and not there.

I get this too, also the new messages part is showing read messages to, not just new unread messages as you would expect
