Typically after posting, I found out I could clean this up by deleting the groups from the bp_groups table. Glad it’s fixed now, but annoying it showed up in the first place!

previous discussion I found, I could be running in to the same issue, it may be due to deleting users asI am still building and testing the site: https://buddypress.org/support/topic/why-does-group-count-not-go-down-when-you-delete-group/
However I notice it ays there are 8 groups, 7 of which are ‘my groups’, but only 5 groups are really on my site now.
