1.2 CSS background-transparency issue

I posted it in http://www.testbp.org (the issue is therefore present in the trunk), but I guess it’s a nice topic for the forums here:

This is an important CSS-Question for me: The transparent background in the admin-bar and the navigation works mostly just fine in IE, BUT in the members-, groups and blogs-directory it makes a gradient from the upper left corner. I experience that in my own custom-theme as well…

In IE 8.0 this strange behavior occurs only if I have a Start-Page with the normal blog-stream… It seems, when the page is loaded, that for one moment it is ok, but then it ”creates” the gradient… any ideas?! Anybody experiencing the same? In Firefox no problem at all, but sadly most of the users are still on the IE-Trip…

Can some CSS-Guru tell me where the problem lies? Would greatly appreciate that. AND – maybe that would be something for the trac… (?)

I see Andy is moving in the Forums :-) – could you confirm this as a bug/design-issue or do you have a solution for me or hint, what is wrong with me? :-) Thanks!

It is VERY strange… but I found out, that this is only on my computer – so nevermind…
