[Resolved] 3 column layout

    Hi

    I have made a three column layout for site wide activity using css. The issue is that the activity updates are populated column wise as is understandable for normal posts. However, in Buddypress this would not work as I will have the latest updates in col 1, older ones in col 2 and oldest in col 3 as below
    1 4 7
    2 5 8
    3 6 9

    Whereas the ideal way would be to have it in:
    1 2 3
    4 5 6
    7 8 9

    How can I achieve this?

    Thanks

    You float the li elements, clearing to the left on every fourth one using the nth css selector. Essentially it’s a styling matter.

    Alternatively to @hnla’s suggestion, you could utilise something like Bootstrap’s grid system to achieve this.

    @hnla I know, I’m very lazy 🙂

    Actually @hnla, you’ve inspired me to not use Bootstrap for my next project! Bootstrap has always been the go-to solution for me, but let’s see how I get on without it 🙂
