BuddyPress.org

I have looked at all options provided on this site as well as every other site in an attempt to add a favorite button to the post pages. I can not find this information anywhere. The codes that are provided are faulty. They allow a button to be added to the page but when clicking to favorite one post, all post are favorited and nothing shows in the activity stream. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this? In my opinion, this feature should be standard. Popular Post should be allowed to be shared!
