Accepted friend request does not go away

Someone added me as a friend and I see it in the notification menu dropdown. When I click it, it doesn’t go away. Upgraded to the new BP today and it still doesn’t disappear when I click it. Any help? Thanks.

Just visit your profile click on Friends – My Friends, and it will go away. But I agree in that it should go away as soon as you click the notification link.

@LwEEs Thank you. That did the trick. That’s weird you have to go to that specific page to have it be acknowledged.

I really hope they fix this bug in the next update, while is not really that important, it does bother some users.
