Accessing sample pages or building pages for login, registration, etc.

I am confused about this: BuddyPress 1.7 auto generates the component pages for you. However, if you have open registration off in the WordPress general settings these pages may not get auto created.
I don’t see any auto created pages in my dashboard after I made sure the general settings are set to open registration.
Also, I have a conflict in pages between buddypress and a membership2 plugin from wpmudev.
I have the most current version of buddypress and wordpress and all of my other plugins.
Please help and thanks so much!
