Activation Email Link does not Copy Code/Key into the box

Nor does it provide a text code in the email to copy and paste.

Example link that was sent out to users after importing them using CIMY’s User Manager: http://mediabridges.info/activate/?key=1a3a1499d5463bcc&e=1

The key is in the link, but it doesn’t place that key into the activation box. But apparently, it very much still activates the account. Because then a user just needs to reset their password and they’re in.

I’m using WordPress 3.3.1, BuddyPress 1.5.4 and WPMU Dev’s Membership plugin.

  • More than likely it is a plugin. Try disabling each plugin one by one and keep registering and trying the activation until you narrow it down to the culprit. I had the same issue once and the culprit was the “Disable WordPress Updates 1.2 plugin.”

Thanks. It’s probably the Membership plugin. Which isn’t possible to keep deactivated. But there’s a way around all of it, so that’s good.

    Any other advice from others?
