Active but not…

Well, I’m not really sure if I’m worried (at the moment), but upon upgrading from BP1.1.3 to BP1.2 I went through the whole deactivating all plugins etc, then went for the automatic BP upgrade, and all went swimmingly.

However, upon trying to activate BP I got the old ‘fatal error’ message – BUT BP is active, and working absolutely fine as far as I can see, along with all plugins etc. It’s just that it registers as ‘inactive’ in my plugins list.

Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? I’m guessing something in the database perhaps? I’m not worried right now as such, but when I next want to deactivate BP, I’m not sure how I’m going to do it…

Like I say, not immediately urgent / life threatening, but any ideas gratefully received.

This was/is a bug with WPMU

Aha, is there a fix? Or shall I just chance upgrading BP again (after a backup of course)?

    Resolved.

Info for anyone else with similar problems:

The initial problem was a plugin – the old bp-events plugin, although deactivated it was still interfering. Deleting bp-events from plugins folder immediately caused BP to appear as active.

However, couldn’t reactivate BP after upgrade, so removed BP folder from plugins folder and reinstalled BP. Then activated fine.
