activities by default have reserve sort order by time in activity page

On activating feedwordpress wordpress plugin, buddypress activity page for members by default shows the most oldest activity for that member on the top and more recent activities on scrolling down. Am unable to figure out what’s causing this but on deactivating the plugin the problem is fixed.
I need the plugin and it would be good if anyone here knows what could cause buddypress to do that reverse sorting of activities.
