Most of my sites user activity is getting redirected.

When I hover over the link I get a url like this: https://example.com/slug/p/89/ but once clicked it will go to https://example.com/payment/89/ if I change the slug on that page, it will go to
https://example.com/privacy-policy/89/ I’ve tried changing that slug too, but then it will go to the first post with the number 8 in the post id, even though they don’t usually show. I would like it to just follow the https://example.com/slug/p/89/ and find the activity.

Is there a way to do that? I found some code in bp-activity-functions.php that seems to build the link but I really want to add something that will make it follow that exact link.

I’m very new to WordPress and BuddyPress. Thanks in advance for any help you anyone can offer.
