Activity Stream

Hi, I am running buddypress as a private social networking / education site for K-8 schools. I’ve recently had occasion to view a members activity. I thought activity stream would cover most but it seems if someone deletes an activity from their wall it is deleted from the backend activity stream as well.

For example; a student recently changed their profile photo (or did they?). The last profile photo change I can find is over nine months ago. I want to rule out that it was changed and the activity record deleted.

Is there any way to record, as an archive, all activity?

    Thanks,

    Hi @albertbtechtcrnet

You could remove the delete button?

I was hoping for something a little more targeted. I want them to have the capability to delete. Maybe they post something that as soon as they see it they realize they shouldn’t have. Also, with a middle school crowd the stream gets a lot of friend and avatar change notices. I try to teach them to clean it up if it gets to clogged.

I’m looking for something maybe on the backend that is simply a log of all activity. Nothing pretty; just a log file.

    Thanks,
