Hi. I just installed latest version of WP ini my server using Softaculous installer.
Then I install the latest BP from its plugin installer. All working fine.
But, when I opened via Mobile, the input area of Activity (Site-Wide Activity) cannot
be seen. There are only some previous status records with no Comment, Favorite, and Delete buttons.
I have tried many themes but stil the same problem.
Please advise, and many thanks
Yes I would like better customisation options for activity stream to be able to identify exactly which items appear in the activity stream.
Some new options could be to include updates to blogs and pages to be included in the activity stream. Similarly I would like to have the ability to choose not to show items such as members joining groups in the stream.
Just would be nice to have some options over what is and is not included.
Yep – I think most of us want better backend choices for what things are included and excluded in the activity stream – I wrote a detailed post reply recently on this thread here: https://buddypress.org/support/topic/content-activity-stream/
but I had too many links or wrong words in it or something and I guess it got stuck in the moderation que or just blackholed by akismet – who knows..
@djsteveb, All,
you can only post max 3 links on this forum. There is no moderation for this, meaning there is no way to un-moderate. If you publish a topic with 4 or more links, the topic will never been published and you’re simply redirected to the comment screen.
@danbp – thanks for the info – I have been wondering what the deal is with that!
It would be cool if that link limit could have a bypass when the links are to bp dot org, wp dot org, hookr io –
and add the favicon line to the support page, and the pagination for profiles->past replies -> page2 🙂
jk – I know the the bp people are doing tons of work on much more important things and I appreciate that.
Maybe I will repost the info I had and split it into two.. I’ve gotten in the habit of saving comments I make at any WP place in a separate notepad + window for those unkowns.
@edoescad you might have more luck creating your own post herehere
I’m not a developer, in fact this was my first ever post on bp.org so I can’t help you on this… 🙂
@the-living-legend lol yes yes I understand we are the same hehehe
