Activity Stream shows not latest post but „user posted an update”

    When posting on activity stream, not the content (text or media) is shown as activity, but the hint:
    “user posted an update”. Activity stream in admin area shows post content, new posts an comments on post are listet in activity stream.
    Can’t figure out, how to change this. Probably is this issue just an option, which could be changed.

    @ingohaeck try to deactivate other BuddyPress plugins and keep BuddyPress plugin active; it might be possible any 3rd party plugin is filtering your activity stream.
