Add friend on signup. / IE issues

    Is there an easy way to automatically add someone as a friend on signup. For instance every new member is automatically added as my friend.

    There seems to be a lot of Javascript errors in IE7, is anyone else noticing this? I’ve also had some reports of the image uploader not functioning properly.
