Adding a tab to the Users->Your Profile Section

Hi,
I have been searching and searching trying to see if anyone knows how to add a tab to the ‘Users->Your Profile’ page on the WordPress dashboard. It would be a tab such as the Extended Profile tab that buddy press has added.

That’s a WordPress page so you might be wise to ask in the WordPress Forums as well. I don’t knw, hopefully someone will come along who knows?

@johnnymarin Searching the BuddyPress code base for “Extended Profile” would have shown you the relevant WordPress action hooks to use are edit_user_profile and show_user_profile.

Have a look at class BP_Members_Admin->profile_nav() for an implementation example. 🙂

@johnnymarin did you ever work out implementing this? Surprised at how little info seems to be available on this topic.
