Adding custom article types to activity streams

Buddypress 1.6.4
Wordpress 3.5.1

I’m working with a custom theme that adds two article types. I’m trying to determine where in Buddypress the call is made to pull articles into the activity stream after I check the box.

Site is at: http://gamersarcadia.com/thisisbeta/activity . Normal articles are fine, but the two custom article templates are not coming in.

By ‘article types’ you mean custom post type ?
