Adding filters (xprofile data) to the ‘Order by:’ dropdown

Hello,
I’m trying to add filters to the “Order by:” dropdown on the Members Directory page.
I would like the added filters to be data from 2 radio buttons in an xprofile field (option 1, option2).
The final ‘Order by:’ list would include ‘Last Active’,’Newest Registered’,’Alphabetical’,’Option 1′,’Option2′.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
