From your admin dashboard
– Select BuddyPress from the left sidebar
– Click Profile Field Setup
– Setup your profile fields
Users will then be prompted to fill in this info when they signup

The SocialNetwork logo is named logo.gif, I think. You can find it in two places:
1. WP-Content > themes > buddypress-home > images and
2. WP-Content > bp-themes > buddypress-member > images.
Replace both with your desired logo and try.
I tried replacing that logo.gif with my own logo.gif and no go. Still has the original logo on there. Anyone else have any ideas how to change it?

Maythil is right, it should work, maybe try to delete the cache in your web browser and re-load your page again.
(and maybe use a logo.gif picture with the same size to begin).

cool that worked, just had to do a shift reload to get it to reload correctly, thanks for the help
