Adding mandatory fields to profiles – what about existing users?

    Hi,

    Just wondering, if and when I add additional mandatory fields to profiles, are my existing users notified the next time they log in that they need to enter this information before proceeding? If not, would these mandatory fields remain blank?

    Newly-added mandatory fields stay unset until a user goes to edit their profile (for whatever reason); then they must set them.

    Hmm would be cool to add that feature. Has anyone out there done this?
