Hello,
i’m running bp on my website and i ran into a problem i don’t have a solution for. I hope someone here can help me.

I have the bp profiles and i want to add a field with skillset to the profile. One profile can contain multiple skills. I also need the skills to be searchable. The BP members will define and add new skills.

My first thought was to add a custom taxonomy to the wordpress users but then i have to write a lot of code to show it in the bp profile and make it searchable in bp.

I already have the plugin Buddypress Xprofile Custom Fields Type and BP Profile Search. Can i hook into these plugins and make it work or is there maybe another (better) solution?
