Adding Social Media icons to member header

Hello, I’m pretty new to BuddyPress so please forgive my ignorance.
I’m trying to add social media icons to my member headers, and I’m at a loss. I’ve followed a few threads but they are from over 4 years ago and don’t seem to be working. I’m hoping someone can help me out here:)

And I am using the legacy templates.
