admin-ajax.php using too much bandwidth

I just got a notice from my host service that I’m over my “GPU” (Grid Performance Units) limit. It looks like it’s mostly from the Buddypress admin-ajax.php file. I’m on a Mediatemple Grid service. Anyone out there have this issue? And if so, what have you done to fix it?

Yes but is it a particular activity that is causing this? can you be a little more specific, got any logs?
