Admin controlled Profile Fields

Hi y’all,
I’m making a website for my Football (american) team. It’s being a tad difficult given the lack of plugins with sport teams in mind, but I’m managing to do it.
Thing is, I don’t like my teammates being able to modify their info on the roster (their profile) as they like. Is there a way to freeze the field and only let the admin/coach/whatever change it?
