BuddyPress.org

I am trying to get BuddyPress working so I can manage users at the admin level. I want to be able to have the admins create the user accounts instead of users themselves. The reasoning is that I am really building more of a member directory, but am interested in a few of the extra features BuddyPress offers.

So at this point I have found a few extensions where I can create and activate the users, but they don’t show up in the Members list on the front end until they log in for the first time. My question then is, does anyone know a way around that? Or what happens when they log in for the first time in the database that allows them to show in the list? Maybe I can put in a hook to update that data on creation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
