Admin toolbar doesn't direct to dashboard area

    When Buddypress isn’t installed I can get to my dashboard area from the admin toolbar that appears at the top right hand corner of my screen by Howdy. Good thing.
    When Buddypress is installed the dashboard link in the admin toolbar no longer takes me to profile.php or

    It takes me to
    members/admin/profile/edit/group/1/

    How do I now access the dashboard from the toolbar?
