After migrating a site, WP 2.9.2, BP 1.2.5.2 all forum topics disappeared.

Error message: “Sorry, there were no forum topics found.”

I have done the buddypress–>forum setup configuration to point it to the new bb-config.php path.

Creating a new topic gives this error “There was an error when creating the topic”

Plugins: Forums Extras in use.

Any idea what could be wrong?

verify the bb-config.php file and the location stored in the db _options table “bb-config-location”

@nuprn1 Which table in particular? I can see wp_bb_meta has uri http://[domain-name]/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-forums/bbpress/

Is that the right value?

@hnla Thanks. That was it. The db access values for wp-config.php did not match those of bb-config.php I must have forgot to change the DB Username in the bb-config.php file.
