Any way to embed .swf files hosted from my server or Voicetheead files onto buddypress forums?

    Hi All!
    I am really getting excited about having my bbpress look more and more like my old Ning page.
    I was wondering if anybody had a possible code fix to get an .swf file to embed on a buddypress forum.
    I can get the embed code into my posts and pages on wordpress, but was wondering if this would be
    possible on the forums. For example:

    http://voicethread.com/share/101845/
