Arbitrary Profile Tab Plugin

Wondering if this might work or if anyone has any ideas torwards it….
I’d like to make a simple arbitrary profile tabs plugin that puts a custom tab in the member profile nav…I don’t think i necessarily need to make a full bp component plugin(or maybe i do), instead I want to very simply insert the tab that runs off a template file where I can switch_to_blog to a form page on another blog.
If the switch_to_blog works then in theory any template can be pulled into the profile, right?
