Auto-fill Profile Field

    WordPress 4.3.1, BuddyPress 2.3.3

    Auto-filling might not be the best method but I want to be able to send a message, post a message or some way to notify logged in members of a coupon we are offering with another plugin (Event Manager Pro). I am looking for any suggestions as BuddyPress is the only real method to getting information to the customer. The site’s owner does not want it to be through email. He wants it to be visible when they log in.

    Thoughts?

    Have you tried sending a message with this box checked – ‘This is a message to all users’ ?
    It’s on the Compose screen in your profile > Messages.
    It should create a Notice that all members will see and can dismiss if logged in.
