AutoJoin new members to group

    I don’t want new members to have to figure out how to join a group if they want to post something in a forum. I figure I’ll have them auto join a group when they sign up for a profile.

    I used the plugin BuddyPress Auto Group Join
    I go to configure it and I get the error:
    “BuddyPress Groups are currently Disabled. Please enable groups in the BuddyPress – Component Setup Menu.”

    I go to the component setup menu and groups are enabled.

    I notice that in BuddyPress settings> “Restrict group creation to Site Admins?” won’t let me choose yes or no.
