Posted this in bbPress also …
1) In BuddyPress 1.5 Group Forums, pasting a youtube link behaves as expected for wordpress… it is rendered as an embedded video.
The same link pasted into a sitewide bbPress 2.0 topic shows up as a link, not an embedded video.

2) with the CLEditor plugin installed and appropriate change made to an internal selector, you get a sweet WYSIWYG editor for the bbPress 2.0 sitewide forum topics and replys.
For the BuddyPress 1.5 internal group forums, try as I might, I could not get the textareas to be treated in a similar fashion. I’m guessing that somehow the jquery attempt to modify the element is being ignored or overridden.

It would be awfully nice if the group forums and sitewide forums would behave in a similar fashion IMHO.
Both plugins are fantastic!
