Blog activity doesn't show on the activity feed

    When I create a new blog post or a comment on one, it doesn’t add that activity to the site wide activity or any activity. It adds the blog post and comment, but that part of the activity doesn’t display on the widget as well as your profile. Anyway to fix this?

    I have looked in the database at table “wp_bp_activity_user_activity_cached”. It doesn’t seem to add the activity to that field.

    I found a fix here: https://buddypress.org/forums/topic/more-privacy-options-private-blogs-and-activity-streams. Worked for me.

    That topic seems related specifically to a plugin.

    I had the “Blog Tracking” disabled in the component setup because I don’t want members to create new blogs. I enabled it and it worked again. The only problem now is that the menu item displays “Create a Blog”. I need to delete that slug.
