Blog meta data not syncing

I recently upgraded to 1.2.1 (using WPMU 2.9.2), I’m not even sure if this is a result of the upgrade, but some user blogs have disappeared from the blogs page.
Making changes to the blog options (both as a site admin or via the standard blog wp-admin pages) aren’t reflected in the buddypress blog list as well.
I notice that the tables bp_blogs and bp_blogs_meta don’t get updated when making changes to the options on buddypress. The blog that disappeared isn’t even in the bp_blogs_meta table. I’m guessing there’s a hook issue.
Is anyone else experiencing this sort of behaviour?
