BP database changes main page instead of sub-blogs

    Hi,
Running BP 1.2.9 on top of WordPress 3.2.1. and I’ve installed it into a subdirectory.

My main WP site is http://plattnerdesign.com BP is http://plattnerdesign.com/testmgs. What I need to do is take another person’s blog and install it into a subblog http://plattnerdesign.com/grantee-4/ Since the posts and comments are extensive I thought I’d import the mySQL DB tables.

Inside my myPHPadmin all the subblogs have been listed as wp_2_posts, wp_2_comments, with all of the tables for all parts of the sub blog etc. The problem is when I try to change the tables of the subblogs, the blog itself remains untouched, but plattnerdesign gets hit with the new posts and all my stuff gets knocked away. (see chart http://is.gd/XAd9xt).

How can I make the right import affect the right site?

    Thanks!

Apparently I am a dumbass and there is an import tool that does what I need. Please disregard.
