[Resolved] BP: Error Message in site's browser tab w/HTML Warning

    Good evening,

    I’m getting an HTML Warning error message in the browser tab (where the site name and tagline normally go) when viewing my client’s site on all the major browsers. Since I’m submitting this query in a WSYWIG editor, writing out the message (which is in HTML) may be a bit redundant. It’s basically showing a br tag surrounding the word Warning. This is consistent throughout all pages of the site and is only alleviated once the BuddyPress plugin is disabled.

    If anybody has any insight into how I can remedy this I would be most grateful.

    Sincerely,
    -ToiBot

    **edit** I’ll be happy to submit a screenShot of the issue should anyone need a visual aid.

    Thank you.

    Try with another theme. Use 2013 or 2014 and test.

    @danbp,

    Thank you for your response. Your insight was spot on. I switched over to 2014 and it worked just fine. Furthermore, after re-installing the previous theme I was able to get a better read on the error message. There appears to be a conflict coming from a missing argument between the theme I’m using and the BP plugIn. Time for me to roll up my sleeves.

    Your time and insight are greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
