bp-facebook with WordPress MU Domain Mapping not working

  • @kagliostro

I have installed wordpress 3.0 beta (in network modalityb) with last version of Buddypress: my “network” consist of 2 blogs (subdirectory method) that share everything (activity, favorite, group and -obviously- members).
If someone register with bp-facebook connect (and multidomain plugin is off) everything working very well: I can pass from site to another without disconnected.
Instead if I turn on multidomain plugin, my second domain url change -obviously- (from http://photofaith.net/faithmosaic to http://faithmosaic.com) and bp-facebook connect goes crazy and doesn’t recognize user (I believe because it thinks to a change of site).

There is a workaround for this?

BP-FBConnect plugin has not been upgraded to work with WP 2.9.2 or the BP 1.2.x series. This is why you’re having issues. See the requirements section on the right: https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-fbconnect/

Contact the plugin author and ask when this plugin will be updated.

Andy has already recommend the WP-FB-AutoConnect (https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-fb-autoconnect/) before this. Check it out.

Thanks Reezo, but WP-FB-Autoconnect doesn’t work in my site.
I have tried also new update version (today), but nothing: I read comment on WP-FB-Autoconnect blog for search a solution but there isn’t.
The only facebook plugin that works for me, actually, it’s only BP-Facebook and I hope Andy update it.
